The audience is transported back to the year 1629, in the midst of the siege of Den Bosch, where a travelling troupe of theatre-makers must choose between propaganda and truth. The show runs from 4 August to 13 September. Tickets are now on sale.

COME AND SEE! is set during the siege of Den Bosch in 1629. The travelling theatre director Quintus Quirulinus and his troupe tour the Netherlands with their ‘Marvellous Arts Cart’, bringing stories, music and entertainment in a time of war. When Prince Frederik Hendrik asks them to put on a propaganda performance for the besieged city, they are faced with a difficult choice. Do they tell the story the rulers want to hear, or do they give a voice to the ordinary people who have been bearing the brunt of the war for years?

With humour, live music and an impressive fold-out theatre wagon as its backdrop, KOMT DAT ZIEN! tells a compelling story about the power of imagination and the search for one’s own voice in turbulent times.

The play was written by Alexander de Bruijn, who is responsible not only for the script but also for the songs. Director Albert van Andel brings the story to life with a cast of five actors: Xander van Vledder, Kiki Jaski, Alexander de Bruijn, Akim Moiseenkov and Can Günkan. Together, they form not only the cast but also the live orchestra that provides the music for the show.

During the first week of performances, *KOMT DAT ZIEN!* will form part of the Boulevard Theatre Festival.
