Wilbert Bulsink composed his second string quartet based on the work of the Canadian painter Guido Molinari, whilst the Canadian composer Denis Gougeon drew inspiration from Mondrian. The whole programme promises to be an enchanting experience in which the paintings by Molinari and Mondrian will \u2018dance\u2019 to the music, thanks to Udo Prinsen\u2019s visuals.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Exhibition<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Running alongside the concerts is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mondriaanhuis.nl\/nl\/tentoonstellingen\/perpetual-motion\/\">exhibition<\/a> \u2018Perpetual Motion\u2019, featuring work by Udo Prinsen, will be on display at the Mondriaanhuis in Amersfoort from 10 October 2026 to 31 January 2027. This exhibition introduces the artist Guido Molinari to the public in the Netherlands and showcases new work by Prinsen in which he responds to Molinari and Mondrian.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"vhVdkBzr4UQ5qKOW8cwtuXNEjlD39MSoZ0meGpCHJ7LIAsgR\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Perpetual Motion \u00b7 Teaser\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1213817262?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Premiere and concerts<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">This programme will premiere on Sunday 25 October 2026 at the renowned Salle Bourgie in Montr\u00e9al, Quebec, Canada. Bulsink: \u201cThe playful and adventurous nature of Molinari\u2019s work, and indeed Mondrian\u2019s, appeals to me enormously. Because this kind of \u201chigh modernism\u201d has now become part of a certain canon, people often forget just how much these artists were pioneers in exploring new possibilities of perception.
