November Music, in collaboration with Buma Cultuur, presents the full programme for NMConnects, the new networking and meet-up programme for creators and professionals in the contemporary music scene. The first edition will take place in \u2019s-Hertogenbosch on Saturday 21 November 2026. Featuring talks, creator sessions, showcases and meetings with experts from the music sector, NMConnects provides a space for the exchange of knowledge, inspiration and new collaborations. The full programme is now available on the November Music website.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Put together your own programme<\/h2>\n

NMConnects will take place on Saturday 21 November 2026 from 4.00 pm to 7.30 pm at Theater aan de Parade and the Azijnfabriek in \u2019s-Hertogenbosch. The programme is divided into three routes:\u00a0Entry-level, Mid-career and Organisations<\/strong>, aimed at budding creators, established creators and professionals from cultural organisations. In addition, there are programme components that are open to everyone.<\/p>\n

Using the timetable, participants can put together their own programme. They are free to choose between the various tracks, allowing them to tailor the afternoon to their interests and professional development.<\/p>\n

From artistic development to current issues in the music sector<\/h2>\n

Martin Fondse and Anja Volk<\/strong>\u00a0They will jointly host the opening and closing sessions of NMConnects. During a series of talks, creators and professionals will engage in discussion about their professional practice and the opportunities and challenges within the music sector.<\/p>\n

For budding creators, the composer and presenter\u00a0Anne-Maartje Lemereis<\/strong>\u00a0A conversation with Arjan Linker, Igor and Roufaida. During the talk for mid-career creators, they discuss\u00a0Thomas Azier, Elisabeth Hetherington and Saskia Venegas Aernouts<\/strong>\u00a0their experiences, led by music journalist Hannah Pezzack.<\/p>\n

The position and future of cultural organisations are also discussed. Led by Bert Palinckx, the participants include, amongst others,\u00a0Zeno van den Broek and Ken Thomson<\/strong>\u00a0engaging in dialogue with one another on current issues within the sector.<\/p>\n

As well as the talks, there are creative workshops in which artists share their experiences, ideas and perspectives. Among others,\u00a0Jonathan Bonny, Mees Siderius and Bec Plexus<\/strong>\u00a0are taking part in the session for beginners. During the session for mid-career creators, they share\u00a0Stephanie Pan, Martijn Buser and Thanasis Deligiannis<\/strong>\u00a0their insights.<\/p>\n

Showcases and meetings with experts<\/h2>\n

During the showcases, they will present\u00a0Nawras Altaky, Yanna Pelser and Dimitra Sofroniou<\/strong>\u00a0their work to fellow artists and professionals in the music industry. The three creators represent a variety of musical backgrounds and artistic perspectives.<\/p>\n

At\u00a0NMConnects | Meet the Experts<\/strong>\u00a0Participants can engage directly with organisations from the cultural sector. Organisations present include Fonds Podiumkunsten, Platform ACCT, Nieuw Geneco, New Music NOW, the Kunstenbond and voordekunst. Creators and professionals can come here with questions about, amongst other things, funding, copyright, fair pay, entrepreneurship and the development of their professional practice.<\/p>\n

Networking and exploring the festival programme<\/h2>\n

After NMConnects has finished, participants can continue their discussions from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm during an optional networking dinner.<\/p>\n

Anyone wishing to combine the afternoon with the November Music festival programme can opt for a combined ticket. In addition to entry to NMConnects and the dinner, this also includes entry to the Bosch Labyrinth and the Ambient Night. A reduced rate applies to participants under the age of 30.<\/p>\n
