\u201cA labyrinth is usually the sort of place where, for a moment, you\u2019re no longer in the normal world. You find yourself in a sort of enclosed space where you\u2019re faced only with a specific route. In this case, that route has already been determined and you know where you are.\u201d So says Sanne Huijbregts, jazz musician and composer. Alongside Thomas van Dun, Eva van Pelt, Frieda Gustavs and Wouter van Veldhoven, she contributed to the Bosch Labyrinth. This programme, in which audience members follow a route past five locations where they can experience music, is a new feature of November Music, which takes place this year from 20 to 29 November in Den Bosch.<\/p>\n
Whilst the festival has invariably opened with the Bosch Requiem \u2013 a major work by a single composer \u2013 over the past several decades, the new management has opted for a varied programme that showcases the diversity of new music to its fullest advantage.<\/p>\n
