'She gives voice to the unspeakable,' said jury chair Machteld Postma. The award will be presented by Queen's Commissioner Ina Adema. An amount of \u20ac10,000 is attached to the prize. The time of presentation will be announced later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An impressive and multifaceted body of work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From our home base the Verkadefabriek in Den Bosch, Madeleine creates performances with MATZER Theatre Productions about big life questions and current themes, always in dialogue with the audience - both in the theatre and outside, at organisations and companies. Her versatile and impactful oeuvre includes\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/matzer.org\/voorstellingen\/je-kunt-me-gerust-een-geheim-vertellen\/\">You can feel free to tell me a secret<\/a><\/em>, on the hopeful side of dementia. And\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/matzer.org\/voorstellingen\/de-steen-in-mijn-mond\/\">The stone in my mouth<\/a><\/em>, an intimate narrative about the impact of World War II, which is currently on show again at National Monument Camp Vught and other special locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transfer of artistic leadership and farewell<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 1 January 2025, Madeleine has handed over her artistic leadership to Martine Manten. At a special event, we will bid a festive farewell to Madeleine.
