The Kees Holierhoek Scenario Prize will be awarded on 9 December for the 16th time to the screenwriter(s) of the best original Dutch series. The winner will receive a sum of \u20ac25,000. This makes the Kees Holierhoek Scenario Prize one of the biggest scenario prizes in the Dutch language area.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible are originally Dutch series that premiered on television or online between 2023 and 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historical drama series about the Jewish Council, the body set up by the German occupying forces and charged with organising the deportations of the Jewish population from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ONE OF US<\/strong> \u2013 Willem Bosch<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n

Years-long search for the perpetrator of the murder and rape of 16-year-old Anneke. The murder case grips the entire village and eventually the whole of the Netherlands gets involved. The crime remains unsolved for years until a large-scale DNA investigation breaks the case open. Inspired by the murder of Marianne Vaatstra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner will be announced at Felix Meritis on 9 December.<\/strong>

Jury<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The jury consists of Philip Huff (writer, screenwriter, director), Simone Atangana Bekono (poet and writer), Marijn Bloemen (script and story editor), Isis Cabolet (actor, director and screenwriter) and Ernie Tee (script coach, script editor and dramaturg).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kees Holierhoek Scenario Prize<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Kees Holierhoek Scenario Prize is the largest screenplay prize for TV series in the Dutch-speaking region. The winner receives \u20ac25,000. The prize was established in 1993 by the Lira Foundation and is awarded every other year to a screenwriter or writing team of Dutch television drama within a general or specific dramatic genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016, Kees Holierhoek, founder and president of Lira, took his leave after 30 years. As a tribute to his unwavering commitment to writers of all blood groups, this professional award was named after him. Since 2019, the prize has been administered by Stichting Auteursprijzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
