New makers with guts, urgency and a surprising idea for a performance can still apply for a place at the festival until 30 November 2025. Whether you make cabaret, dance, sing, play mime or experiment with a crossover of genres - the Delft Fringe Festival invites you to showcase your talent from 27 May to 7 June 2026 in Delft's historic city.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artistic director Tamara Griffioen encourages anyone who dreams of taking the stage: \u201c<em>The passion should shine from the application - as should the need for why exactly now your performance should see the light of day. Perhaps because it touches on a topical theme, or because it is a story that needs to be heard. Anyone who dreams of a stage should grab their chance now.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A springboard for untamed talents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delft Fringe Festival is the place where new talent gets a chance to shine. Makers can show their work to audiences and professionals, including scouts, programmers and theatre agents. They receive feedback, coaching and compete for the coveted audience award, which for many is a springboard to full theatres and rave reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Previous makers who played at Delft Fringe Festival:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"<em>It is really and super cool experience.<\/em>\u201c<br \/>\"<em>You can play very often, those are nice flying hours<\/em>.\"<br \/>\"<em>You get to know a lot of people within the profession. Fellow creators but also programmers who come to see<\/em>.\"<br \/>\"<em>You play in locations you won't be in again anytime soon.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organisation also offers artistic guidance. Griffin:<br \/>\u201cFor many creators, Delft Fringe Festival is a serious step in their careers. Last year's winner, <em>Dystopia<\/em>, found an impresario thanks to us and is now touring the country. That's exactly why this festival exists.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From mill to factory hall<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delft Fringe is a location theatre festival: makers perform in unique places in the city. From mills and churches to factory halls.
