This is evident from the sector-wide employee survey conducted by DUO Market Research on behalf of the Kunstenbond and the NAPK this autumn. The survey, a baseline measurement among 497 employees and self-employed persons, shows that employees are remarkably satisfied, committed and proud of their work.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a sector that has regularly been the subject of negative publicity in recent years, including reports of inappropriate behaviour and excessive workloads, this result is an important and hopeful message, according to the Kunstenbond and the Dutch Association for Performing Arts (NAPK). At the same time, both organisations emphasise that social safety, fair working conditions and workloads remain areas of concern.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Employees give their work a score of 8.7<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall job satisfaction scores 8.7, putting the sector well above the Culture benchmark (8.1). Employees experience a high level of satisfaction, feel strongly connected to their organisation and the vast majority (79%) would choose their employer again. Collaboration, atmosphere, job content and working conditions are the most highly rated themes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Joint assignment for the sector<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This baseline measurement provides the NAPK, the Kunstenbond and employers with a solid foundation for policy-making. This study emphasises to employers and the Kunstenbond how strong the sector is and what we can discuss in the coming years in order to achieve improvements together where necessary.&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kunstenbond en NAPK presenteren resultaten tevredenheidsonderzoek.
