Utrecht - With the performance Good gold money theatre maker Greg Nottrot managed to raise a whopping 40,000 euros from his audience during the Oerol Festival. This production was received with high praise by both the press and the audience at Oerol Festival and responds to that strong feeling that ''something has to change'' from both the creator and the audience itself. From 28 June, the performance can be seen for 4 weeks on the Berlin Square in Utrecht.

Good gold money confronts audiences with the complexities of money and the ethical dilemmas associated with it. With his activist, somewhat poetic and theatrical work, Nottrot got his audience thinking at the Oerol festival.

The success of Good gold money is not only a confirmation of Nottrot's gift for presenting socially relevant themes in a compelling way. It also shows how important the themes of 'money' and 'equality' are and how widely supported that is. Both the press and the audience were full of praise for the performance.

To be seen 20 more times in Utrecht

Good gold money offers a unique opportunity to enjoy an evening of theatre in the open air (with a delicious dinner) while reflecting on the role of money in our society. After 19 performances at Oerol, mainlanders will have the chance from 28 June to 23 July 2023 to enjoy Good gold money experience. The performance will take place at Berlijnplein, a lively and cultural location in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn. Tickets are available on the NUT website.
