With a large number of composition commissions and some 100 concerts, the 32nd edition of November Music shows how diverse and vital cutting-edge music is. November Music 2024 will take place from 8 to 17 November at various locations in 's-Hertogenbosch. This year, the annual MusicRoute is on Sunday 10 November. In MusiMatrix, you will discover the brand new Theater aan de Parade in a musical way on Sunday 15 September 2024.

A musical trail right through the new theatre!

On Sunday 15 September, you can discover the new Theater aan de Parade with the whole family, thanks to MusiMatrix's fantastic music trail. There will be mini-concerts and a musical workshop in different areas of the theatre, allowing children to playfully discover and experience contemporary composed music. A super fun outing that children will talk about for a long time!

MusiMatrix is an interactive experience trail with mini concerts and active moments that breaks down the barriers between listening, actively experiencing and performing together. Children are playfully challenged to discover classical and contemporary composed music during an adventurous musical trail across Theater aan de Parade. Experienced workshop facilitators teach the children basic musical principles such as melody, rhythm and timbre.

Music Route on Sunday 10 November

A city like 's-Hertogenbosch with its many historic buildings, cultural hotspots and picturesque streets lends itself perfectly to the annual Music Route. Spectacular performances, intimate concerts and spontaneous musical get-togethers, it's all possible during this popular November Music Route on the first Sunday of the festival on Sunday 10 November 2024 between 11.30 and 17.00.

Fans from all over the Netherlands make it a special day out. With a map and playing schedule in hand, music adventurers traverse the city centre in search of the latest sounds and unexplored musical side paths. A ticket gives you access to around 20 (shorter) concerts where you put together your own programme. Most concerts are performed more frequently. With a lot of attention for new talent again this year. The concerts during the MusicRoute are very diverse and range from music theatre and contemporary composed to jazz, world music and sound installations with Ralph van Raat, Florian Magnus Maier (Bach out of Bounds), new work by Rob Zuidam by Keren Motseri & Pauline Post, Mees Vervuurt and Cathy van Eck, among others. Tip: that day, also visit the Bosch Requiem in the NoordBrabants Museum by Micha Hamel and Jonas Staal

About November Music

November Music is the festival for all adventurous music lovers. Every year, it brings together the most idiosyncratic and progressive creators and musicians from all over the world. Not with the flow or against it, but with new, own currents. It is precisely by giving a place to all these different sounds that November Music allows a personal and individual story to be heard, just as the makers themselves do.

Experience modern composed music, jazz, world music, musical theatre, pop, installations and genres you never thought possible yourself. November Music creates encounters and challenges creators to jump into the deep end.

From 2021, November Music will be part of the national cultural basic infrastructure, known as the BIS. For more information, visit www.novembermusic.net
