The Official Nominations for the 2014 Dance Audience Award have been announced. Check out the 10 favourite dance performances and 10 favourite dancers of 2014. What's more, you can vote for them.
Varied entries
For the Dance audience award nearly 800 visitors of dance performances sent in nominations from as many as 105 dancers and 65 dance performances. From Igone de Jongh of the Dutch National Ballet to the young Carlos Puts in Billy Elliot, from Sehnsucht/Schmetterling From NDT to Zero By Nanine Linning. From the longlisted dancer and longlisted dance performance a shortlist was compiled: the dancers or performances with the most entries were given a place in the top 10.
You can vote for the nominees until 31 January. The winners will be announced in February. The Dance Audience Award is an initiative of partner Dance audience.co.uk in collaboration with the Cultural Press Agency.
