Collection added to Panorama Amsterdam
On display is the third uniform celebrating the unique street football culture of Amsterdam and its golden generation. The pre-match uniforms are also on display. Red thread in this pre-match wear is the East African beadwork-inspired print in the Pan-African colours of red, black and green, reflecting Amsterdam's culturally diverse identity. The third and pre-match kits will be part of Panorama Amsterdam, the permanent collection at the Amsterdam Museum on the Amstel.

Tribute to Amsterdam
'The third jersey celebrates Amsterdam's unique street football culture, highlighting its impact on the city's togetherness and community,' Daily Paper said. The golden shirt features Amsterdam's most prominent street football pitches. It is an ode to the places where, for many, the love of football began. Squares such as Balboaplein (where players like Gerald Vanenburg and Frank Rijkaard learned to play), Zaandammerplein and Nigel de Jongplein (recently renamed after Abdelhak Nouri) feature on the shirt. References such as the coat of arms of Amsterdam, the founding year 1275 and alternative names for Amsterdam such as 'Mokum' and 'Damsko' also make the collection a tribute to the city.
Progressive clothing brand
'Daily Paper is one of the leading fashion voices of recent years,' said Roberto Luis Martins, curator of Fashion and Popular Culture at the Amsterdam Museum. 'This Amsterdam-based brand is shaping an international generation: not only in terms of fashion and style, but also in terms of entrepreneurship and their committed community-based approach. The brand remains true to its Amsterdam roots. The partnership with Ajax is a symbolic expression of that. These jerseys are therefore a wonderful addition to the Amsterdam Museum's collection.'
