Henk Helmantel - Master Painter is the first press preview I attend since the corona outbreak. Wearing a mask, of course. An exhibition on Frida Kahlo was originally scheduled, but has been moved to 2021. The exhibition of Henk Helmantel's art has been brought forward and I am delighted about that.
The name Henk Helmantel was familiar to me before I had ever seen a painting by him, as my mother is a long-time fan of his art....
