Celebrate the importance and enjoyment of contemporary music and today's composers during Composer's Day
At Night Shift - The Rehearsal by Cathy Milliken, the audience playfully becomes co-makers and players. Together with musicians, choir, soloists and conductor, they create a world where the boundaries between them blur.
Midsummer Night's Dream as inspiration
Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream constitutes the starting point of Night Shift. In it, artisans, a group of amateur actors, come together to rehearse a play. From this fact, a play within a play, the idea for Night Shift: a public rehearsal used to develop a performance unique to each place, time or presentation.
