Today, the Culture Council reacted rather furiously to the many negative reactions to the opinion issued last week. And this was just a general opinion. The real balderdash will only come in the autumn, when Halbe Zijlstra will implement the council recommendation.
Finally, the tables are set because the Culture Council is sour. They could also have given up and thrown in the towel, but this accumulation of old Dutch sayings would - in the eyes of many - only make things worse.
