A salary that made him equal to the dozens of air traffic controllers, medical specialists and broadcasting staff who all earn far more than the Balkenende norm (193,000 euros a year, including pension).

One remains. In 2010, the Amsterdam School of Arts had a chairman of the executive board who received 199,654 euros. Indeed: touched. His successor Jet de Ranitz has a salary conforming to the frameworks set by the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (HBO-Raad) for this purpose (cachelink).
