The party may be the biggest loser in the parliamentary elections, but Melody Deldjou Fard is not sitting back. Now that is a bit the standard response of politicians when they face defeat, but Melody's enthusiasm is convincing. We invited her to the podcast because she is employee has been of Culture Press, before she plunged into politics. And because she a good story has in a party that could still do something to raise its profile in terms of cultural politics.
So we talk about GroenLinks in the seventh episode of the Nerd Podcast. Marijn Lems (who didn't vote GroenLinks) and yours truly, who so did, ask Melody with what story GroenLinks could have had a go, and above all: what should happen to culture. And shouldn't the classical Left properly reinvent itself?
