Children's Art Music Route during November Music 2021

During the KinderKunstmuziekRoute children of primary school age can go on Sunday afternoon, 7 November take part in a programme of two workshops focusing on making their own music. With a special programme for lower and upper primary school children, there will be from 2pm to 5pm workshops by SoundLAB, composer Anne-Maartje Lemereis and ensemble TROMPO, among others. During the break there will be a glass of lemonade and something tasty for the children downstairs and we will close the day with a real concert where the children will perform the results of the workshops! Tickets for the Children's Art Music Route are available via the November Music website.

Presentation 'So You Think You Can Write a String Quartet!'

In collaboration with the Ragazze Quartet and foundation In de Knop, November Music organised the educational project "So You Think You Can Write a String Quartet?!". Under the guidance of Anne-Maartje Lemereis and Remy Alexander, nine children aged between 8 and 17 from the 's-Hertogenbosch area composed their own string quartet in a number of sessions. You will hear the resounding result of this latest batch of composers performed by students of the AMPA programme in Tilburg on Wednesday evening, 10 November.

Song of the Moon

Retrieved from Wednesday 17 November plays the children's performance 'A Song for the Moon' in the theatre hall of Perron 3, in Rosmalen. Based on the book of the same name by Toon Tellegen, and with music by composer Mathilde Wantenaar, the show tells the story of the mole who composes a song for the moon.

Every year, it brings together the most idiosyncratic and progressive creators and musicians from all over the world. Not with the flow or against it, but with new, own currents. Influences from contemporary composed music, jazz, world music, pop, music theatre and electronic music form a basis from which the latest creations emerge.
