Plein Theater and Annie Gerretsen present with Pride Amsterdam 2021 the musical theatre performance: Sappho the Jar Cupboard!

Sappho the Jar Cupboard is an unmissable operatic musical narrative. It makes one feign whether it is a podcast or a rock opera after all. A love tragedy between two women that is going to crack, sand and flame! After such a dyke of a story, all you want is more. A lesbian encore which is going to reverberate for ages to come.

With Sappho's time-honoured classical poetry, this performance cannot fail. But pots are equally broken. Inevitably so it seems. Because if love is not allowed to exist, there are only losers.

The performance will be delivered live via wireless headsets, which will allow you to take a seat on one of the Greek islands at Sajetplein in Amsterdam Oost.
