Delft, 13 April 2026 - Ticket sales open today for Delft Fringe Festival 2026, where 23 companies from more than 360 applications will fill Delft for 12 days with performing arts in all forms - from cabaret to opera, from dance to physical theatre.

Experience the world through the eyes of new creators at Delft Fringe Festival
Ticket sales started today for Delft Fringe Festival 2026! From 27 May to 7 June, you can experience the festival at various locations throughout the city - from historic gems to the bustling Cable District. For 12 days, Delft will be all about performing arts such as cabaret, dance, family theatre, kleinkunst, music and everything in between. This year, 23 companies have been selected from more than 360 applications and 10 performances will premiere at the festival. Tickets are available from today via delftfringefestival.nl.
Makers of the future make you think
This new generation of makers aims to make audiences think and give an important message. The themes in their work often stem from very personal experiences or social necessity. This year we see topics such as grief, coming of age, attachment, loss of nature, motherhood, migration, invisible limitations, war suffering and beauty standards - and that's just a part. In the coming weeks, we would like to highlight some of the performances and makers in more detail.

Familiar and new locations
Delft Fringe Festival welcomes back familiar faces this year: the centuries-old mill De Roos and the Nieuwe Kerk are once again enthusiastically participating. In addition, wonderful new locations have been added to the programme, including the monumental Hotel Arsenaal by Westcord on the Korte Geer, the Lutherse Kerk and choir loft, a charming historic business premises on Markt 83, the Oude Kerk, a living room on the Coendersstraat and the Culturele Kantine in the Kabeldistrict.
About Delft Fringe Festival
The Delft Fringe Festival is an annual location theatre festival that offers a stage to the latest generation of creators. For 15 years now, the festival has been bursting into life in the city just before summer. From intimate acts to taboo-breaking performances in unexpected locations such as a centuries-old mill, the council chamber or a factory. From theatre to dance, cabaret to music and everything in between.
The festival gives young talent the opportunity to experiment and gain experience, while visitors discover culture in an accessible and surprising way. The 15th edition of the Delft Fringe Festival will take place in 2026.
