Presentation in car garages
Since Friday 1 May, tickets have been on sale for the location performance featuring actors Tim Helderman and Tamara Schoppert and musician Mats Voshol, who will perform with it in three different car garages. In Heerenveen, Drachten and Leeuwarden, once the mechanics have gone, Haaima's garages will be transformed into play locations to suit the story.
With care
Fierder nei it noarden brings back the memories of Gabe (Helderman), who was once stranded in a car garage on a special car journey with his mother (Schoppert). Without preparation, she suddenly wanted to go to the Far North with him but the couple got unlucky and spent the night in that place. That Gabe actually took care of his mother as a child instead of the other way around then dawned on him.
The performance is created by nationally renowned director Loek de Bakker and writer Herman van de Wijdeven. Both have a recent past with Tryater: De Bakker with the well-received school performance Loft and Van de Wijdeven with the impressive Anwar and the wolf. At Fierder nei it noarden comes in the form of Tryater Rûnom fringe programming that touches on the subject.
The next sixty
Fierder nei it noarden is the first performance of the next theatre season, which starts in September. In the current season, Tryater is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
