Winnie Sorgdrager leads committee on transgressive behaviour cultural sector

Minister of State and former chairman of the Council for Culture Winnie Sorgdrager chairs the committee advising on countering cross-border behaviour in the cultural and creative sector. As previously Published, the council establishes this committee in response to a request for advice from outgoing minister Van Engelshoven (OCW).

The advice should provide insight into what is happening in the field of transgressive behaviour and what is possible to prevent, identify, stop and provide appropriate and timely help to victims.

Other members of the committee are: Leo ten Brink, Janice Deul, Monique Duurvoort, Bram Jansen and Pauline Meurs. From the council, Brigitte Bloksma and Lennart Booij participate in the committee. The committee has started its work.

The minister has asked the council to issue the opinion by early March 2022.
