5 April gaat het Kaboom Animatie Festival van start. Het laat zien dat de animatiefilmer beschikt over een caleidoscopisch palet aan mogelijkheden.

Cilia van Dijk (1941-2023), passionate animation producer who had nothing to do with Disney
Op 26 april 2023 overleed Cilia van Dijk, onafhankelijk animatieproducent en vanaf eind jaren zeventig sterk betrokken bij de opleving van de Nederlandse animatiefilm. In 1986 mocht ze de Oscar voor het door haar geproduceerde Anna & Bella van Børge Ring in ontvangst nemen.
