Festival Annecy 2020 - Are animated films too white?

Is the animation world too white? Anyone seeing the cheerful black figures on the Annecy animation festival poster would say no. But that poster image still refers to the focus the festival planned to give to animation films by African creators. Now that the festival has gone online, a decision has been made to defer this important feature to next year. Wise, because in a real festival setting it will undoubtedly do better justice.
