The cultural field, like everyone else, is deeply shocked by developments in Ukraine. We are deeply concerned about the impact of the large-scale hostilities in Ukraine on the people of the country. To show solidarity and to express sympathy and support, the cultural field is organising the campaign next weekend 4, 5 and 6 March 2022 #rtforUkraine With various activities, such as:

 Buildings in blue yellow

Next weekend, cultural organisations will light up their buildings in the National colours of Ukraine: Blue and Yellow. These may include theatres, museums, monuments, cinemas, film theatres, concert halls, pop stages, libraries, centres for culture (practice), presentation institutions, etc. etc.

 Benefit meetings

Cultural organisations will donate part of the proceeds of an activity or day during the upcoming weekend 4, 5 and 6 March to Giro 555 of the Cooperating Relief Organisations for the people of Ukraine, according to their ability. It can be an activity already on the programme, or an event entirely dedicated to Ukraine, for example with Ukrainian artists and performers. The public is also invited to make a donation stating action H-artForUkraine.

Moment of reflection

Cultural organisations offer audiences a moment of reflection, to reflect on what is going on in Ukraine. This can precede a performance, tour or workshop.

Central website

Retrieved from www.h-artforukraine.nl a record of who is participating, with which activity, will be kept from Wednesday afternoon, 2 March. Organisers will also find the logo, a flyer, other useful information here. They can report their activity via info@kunsten92.nl.
