On Saturday 6 September 2025, Meervaart will transform into a vibrant testing ground of movement. During the annual ICK Dans Parade, ICK Dans Amsterdam will show its raw, curious and energetic side. Dancers and makers give an exclusive preview of the new season - with work that is still in the making and already in full

Raw, unpredictable and full of promise

FOR AN HOUR, A WORLD OF DANCE

In sixty minutes, the audience will trek through a series of pop-ups, sketches, experiments with technology and short encounters. Creators, ICK-dancers and the new batch ICK-NEXT dancers stand side by side. The work of choreographers Emio Greco | Pieter C. Scholten is interspersed with fresh voices such as Robin Coops and Melissa Diktas.

The evening is not a finished performance, but a living collage: unexpected twists, clashing styles and a constant flow of energy. A presenter guides the audience through the evening, providing context and letting the creations speak for themselves.

The ICK Dance Parade is the perfect time to get acquainted with ICK or experience the work from a different perspective. Whether you are an enthusiast, professional or just curious - this evening offers you a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the creative process.
