To what extent can a person escape their fate? To what extent can life be shaped, and how much influence does luck have? In a nerve-wracking game show that’s at least as blood-curdlingly absurd as life itself, a brand-new contestant attempts to find answers to life’s big questions through various rounds and with the help of a capricious quizmaster. And all for that ultimate top prize: a brand-new gourmet set.

Brave the obstacle course of life with a positive attitude. Will you stay with your current partner, or move on? Will you go all out for your ambitions, or opt for a low-maintenance garden after all? And how many points do you actually score for having children? All the lifelines have been used up and there’s no turning back now. In other words: all or nothing, make or break, all the bells and whistles, buying vowels, probably a wheel too, ten seconds to go, the final lap, a pinch of salt, leave it to marinate for a bit, a disappointed father, at least two burn-outs, a dog after all, an early death, alone forever.

The Gameshow of Your Life is a comedy musical and the first collaboration between L’Amour Toujours and the Veenfabriek, who are pulling out all the stops to turn it into a theatrical extravaganza. Lights out, spotlight on, game on.
