Jubilee festival Cinéma Arabe - 15 years window on the Arab world

Two full houses at Amsterdam's Rialto Theatre for Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud's Fatwa, the opening film of Cinéma Arabe 2019. This Tunisian drama tells the poignant story of a father who returns to Tunisia to bury his son. And there discovers to his dismay that the secularly raised boy took refuge with radical Muslims. Awarded best Arab film in Cairo last year.
