An ancient Armenian folk tale about the search for harmony in the world comes to life in spectacular fashion during a concert in a fantastic, moving set with intriguing light show.

The virtuoso jazz-meets-rock pianist and composer Tigran Hamasyan won a major prize at North Sea Jazz, among others, and was elected International Artist of the Year 2021 in Germany. He ingeniously fuses his compositions and improvisations with traditional music from his native Armenia, to which he has returned from the United States. He works for The Bird of a Thousand Voices together with Ruben van Leer, who is known for his stunning, groundbreaking multimedia projects, and with visual artist Boris Acket who is in charge of the audiovisual set. With Hamasyan's brand new piano music, Areni Agbabian's angelic singing voice and an interactive light installation, the myth that has fascinated Hamasyan since childhood comes to life.
