In her first theatre show, “Linde Schöne Is Mislukt”, Linde talks about what it’s like to be the great hope of 2017… in 2026. A show about jealousy, stepping out of your bubble, and everything men have to do with it. Naturally, the stories are still interwoven with Linde’s beautiful songs, but for the first time she’s brave enough to appear on the bill as a stand-up comedian.
She says of this herself: “When I learnt to play the guitar last year, I decided to start doing living-room concerts. That’s when I realised that, if there’s no pressure to get the party started, you can chat between songs for as long as you like. These little chats gradually turned into a story, and then I started to wonder: at what point does all that chatting between songs actually become stand-up comedy?”
As a singer, Linde Schöne has previously received the Nijmegen Culture Prize and has been nominated for an Edison Award and a 3FM Award. She has also performed at festivals such as Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole and Paaspop. As a songwriter, she has written for artists including Maan, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Shary-An and Yade Lauren.
