Holidays in 2026 will no longer be about lovely beaches, fantastic restaurants and balmy evenings by the river, but about surviving wildfires, landslides, severe weather, traffic jams at 43 degrees on sweltering tarmac and the humiliation at the hands of customs at that airport.
