A physical ode to thirty years of Emio Greco | Pieter C. Scholten
On 10 & 11 July next, it will be 2 days of non-stop partying at Space for Dance Art, New West. In this marathon, iconic performances by EG | PC merge with the work of pioneering new creators. The Rhino Dance Marathon is part of Julidans 2025 and free continuous access.

A journey without beginning or end. Everything moves.

WHAT TO EXPECT

- Don(a) Quixote, embodied by Robin Coops, the starting signal of the marathon. Here we also meet the new generation of creators: Melisa Diktaş, Lucinda Wessels, David Feenstra, Robbeduz (Nimanong), Liza Sulaiman and Amit Palgi

- Iconic works such as EXTRA DRY, HELL, PASSIONE and DISAPPEARANCE

- Colliding bodies in works such as the acclaimed ROCCO, WE, THE BREATH and WE WANT IT ALL

- A duel between humans and artificial intelligence in the Intuition Machine, where the body contradicts the machine

- A film lounge with films from first screenings such as FRA to BLASPHEMY RAPSODY, made during the COVID pandemic

- A route through the building past screens, costumes, objects and texts, in which thirty performances are set in motion again

- The experiment Body at a Distance where audiences are invited to experience dance through Virtual Reality

The Rhino Dance Marathon is not a regular performance, but a programme spread over seven spaces, with a full block schedule celebrating the work of 30 years of EG | PC.
