Twee artikelen publiceerde ik vorig jaar in NRC Handelsblad. Het eerste (6 juli 2013) was kritisch over het overheidsbeleid. Daar kwam weinig reactie op. Het tweede artikel (7 december 2013) was kritisch over de kunstensector: die moet zelf scherpe keuzes maken. Weet u het nog? De pleister die Halbe Zijlstra de cultuursector bood in de vorm van de Geefwet? Fiscale voordeeltjes zouden absoluut leiden tot meer sponsoring waardoor de gevolgen van de bezuinigsmaatregelen lang niet zo dramatisch zouden zijn als de sector zelf riep.
