National DOX Club auditions: we go for talent!

THIS IS A PRESS RELEASE

Cultural organisations with a small or large membership can place their press releases on our site without restriction. Participate too? Become a member, as an institution.

June 2023 marks the annual DOX auditions for young people aged 16 - 26 who want to further develop as a performer in the fields of dance, theatre, music, film and/or spoken word? At the DOX Club, you can spend a season exploring, creating and learning with various creators of the moment. Whether you've completed preliminary training or have it all figured out on your own, DOX Club is all about connection, development and talent! Are you DOX? Auditors can apply until 19 May 2023.

Talent development

Self-made artist, move on or preparing for the professional field, it is all possible. Through three rounds, we are looking for new performance talents for the DOX Club learning programme. DOX paves the way for young talents with great ideas, discipline and a great passion for art. Within the DOX Club, DOX'ers can think along creatively with makers and we work cross-disciplinary, with various (sub)cultures. Participation in the DOX Club is free!

Makers 23/24

Choreographer Anne Suurendonk, Choreographer Justin de Jager & composer Andreas Tegnander, performance artists Lodewijk van Dijk & Didi Kreike of club collective R3LN4CHT and Gary Gravenbeek & Ali Zanad.

Who is DOX?

DOX is the home for makers and young performers from different (sub)cultures. Crossovers between theatre and dance are our favourite, with spoken word hip-hop as a source of inspiration. We collaborate in research and learning projects, but also in productions and educational projects that reach young audiences.
