International Theatre Amsterdam, Holland Festival and Nederlands Dans Theater present groundbreaking programmes online, in the Digital Theatre, during the Christmas holidays.

To connect makers, companies and (inter)national visitors, the initiators choose a programme during the Christmas holidays. The ideal period to be together, marvel and get in touch with new perspectives on the world.

NDT: Illuminate

Nederlands Dans Theater programmes the triple bill Illuminate by NDT 2. Three young choreographers present an explosion of energy with hip-hop influences, a composed improvisation and a playful exploration of a dream world.

HOLLAND FESTIVAL

Ifé

Holland Festival offers the groundbreaking evening programme Ifé. Associate artist of 2022 Angélique Kidjo sings about creation myths from Benin, among other things, to music by minimal music composer Philip Glass with support from Amsterdam Sinfonietta.

When Paths Meet, exclusive online world premier

In addition, Holland Festival also presents the concert When Paths Meet by world-renowned composer and musician Sami Yusuf. From deeply meditative melodies to pulsating energetic rhythms.

ITA: Kings of War

In Kings of War, Ivo van Hove merges William Shakespeare's plays Henry V, Henry VI and Richard III into one explosive performance about leadership. In successive Kings, Shakespeare paints a picture of political leaders, face to face with the ultimate responsibility over life and death in times of war. Inimitably, he takes us inside the psychology of those in power but also the machinations of the councillors around them.
