Is there anything to be said from science about the existence of the soul? And how is soul expressed in the visual arts? On Thursday 22 February, we will take you on a quest for historical views on the soul and its more current meanings. It promises to be a multifaceted evening not to be missed!
This meeting on the search for the soul marks the start of the new series of KNAW Trippenhuis Talks - Museum Dialogues. In this series, we bring together museum professionals, artists and scientists in fascinating conversations on current topics from the museum world. This first episode was developed in close cooperation with Museum Catharijneconvent following the exhibition The creation of science, which explores the age-old, dynamic relationship between religion and science.
Date & time: Thursday 22 February 2024, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Place: Het Trippenhuis, Tinbergenzaal, Kloveniersburgwal 29, 1011 JV Amsterdam
