Exhibition Other people's guilt at the NUT - Open house and theatrical talks at Berlin Square

THIS IS A PRESS RELEASE

Cultural organisations with a Cultural Membership can place their press releases on our site without restrictions. Participate too? Take a Cultural Membership.

From Wednesday 6 to Friday 15 March, you will find a special exhibition at the NUT studio (Berlijnplein, Utrecht). Other people's guilt explores the world of guilt through the lens of visual art.

One in five households in the Netherlands faces money problems. Unfortunately, help often comes only when debts are already sky-high. In Andermans schuld, stories about debt turn into works of art. The works of art are for sale. Can we pay off debts with the proceeds?

About Other People's Guilt

Together with various partners, such as Buurtwerkkamer Leidsche Rijn, Poverty Coalition Utrecht, De Tussenvoorziening and various artists, Mart Veldhuis (illustrator) and Job Kühlkamp (NUT programme maker) delve into the world of debt. It is a long-term investigation, with the first public viewing in March 2024. Join them to talk about the value of debt and the value of art and admire the first attempts during this short-term exhibition. Or join one of the round tables for theatrical discussions with interesting guests in/out/about the debt world.

Practical

Visiting the exhibition is free, a place at the table can be reserved (for free). Full = full! For all information visit Other people's fault.
