Utrecht presents a live programme around these exciting elections. From
the Great Hall to monitor exit polls, enter scientists, journalists and
campaigners take the stage and call in several Americans. The programme will be
'coronaproof' produced.
'The story of Anders' (8+) is the new Dance Theatre AYA performance created by Ryan Djojokarso, new resident choreographer with the company. A performance full of dance, absurd humour and crazy twists. Sometimes you just have to look at things differently.
The festival is scrambling to find ways to still present parts of the programme in the short term. This is an exciting puzzle because it is not clear how long the restrictive measures will remain in place or perhaps be extended.

Under the leadership of Viktorien van Hulst, Boulevard Theatre Festival has grown into a regionally rooted festival of national importance. Each year, Boulevard manages to strike a smart balance between entertainment with substance and joyful innovation, with a keen eye on inclusivity.
In October, the Blazers and Bart Moeyaert will tour again with De Schepping, the first part of this successful musical theatre trilogy. During this performance, Bart Moeyaert (winner of the 2019 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, the 'Nobel Prize for children's literature') tells the story using a self-written text to this old, but never performed this way, music by Haydn.
This year, November Music awards 10 commissions to Dutch and two to foreign composers, including a choral work for Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho. Traditionally, November Music opens with the Bosch Requiem on Friday 6 November, which of course takes on an extra charge this year. Korean-Dutch composer Seung-Won Oh draws inspiration from the YeonDo death ritual that links Korean funeral traditions with the Catholic faith. After Kate Moore and Calliope Tsoupaki, she is the third female composer of the Bosch Requiem in a row.

Under the banner 'Sender Boulevard', the organisers of Theatre Festival Boulevard signed up for six weeks of live encounters in 's-Hertogenbosch.
